Fremont police were called at about 2:56 p.m. Saturday to the 1100 block of East Second Street for a possible assault.
The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Travis M. Brumbaugh, 37, of Fremont for domestic assault third-degree and assault by strangulation.
