The Fremont Fire Department was joined by the Fremont Police Department on a call at 10 p.m. Sunday night for a fire in a ditch near the 3500 block of Elk Lane.
Police made contact with the driver of the vehicle, James Pelster, 34, of Omaha. After an investigation, Pelster was arrested and jailed for aggravated driving under the influence.
