EducationQuest Foundation has awarded $1.58 million in scholarship funds to 30 nonprofit colleges and universities across Nebraska for the 2024-25 academic year.
Midland University is one of the educational institutions receiving funds.
The funds are designated for Nebraska undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Each college selects students to receive scholarships based on several criteria.
“One of the primary obstacles to pursuing higher education is cost. EducationQuest is committed to improving Nebraskans’ access to higher education, and these scholarship funds significantly contribute to that mission,” said Eric Drumheller, vice president of grants and scholarships. “We are grateful for our continued partnerships with Nebraska’s colleges and universities, which play a vital role in administering these awards.”
Since the scholarship program began in 1999, EducationQuest Foundation has awarded 29,000 scholarships worth more than $32 million.
