SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its Men’s Soccer Players of the Week for contests played August 26-Sept. 1, 2024. Midland University’s Hugo Garcia-Rosado Duran was selected as the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week while Nolan Fuelberth of Concordia University picked up defensive honors.
Garcia, a junior from Barcelona, Spain, scored his first hat trick as a Warrior as Midland battled back to beat Grand View on the road this week. The transfer from North Iowa CC has four goals in four games this season. He had a goal and an assist in his first game of the season.
Midland will be back in action twice this week, once on the road and once at home. On Wednesday, the Warriors will travel to take on York before returning home to host Missouri Valley on Saturday.
