The Fremont Police Department provided an update Thursday morning about a fatal crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded at about 1:37 p.m. Wednesday at 20th and Broad streets. Randy J. Zima, 59, of Mead was traveling south on North Broad Street when his vehicle crossed the centerline. He collided with a semi, driven by Gregory L. Tresnak, 65, of Scribner, traveling north on Broad.
Zima was transported to a medical facility where he was pronounced deceased. Tresnak was not transported.
An autopsy has been ordered.
