Methodist Fremont Health earns national honor

methodist-new

Methodist Fremont Health was recently recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) for quality stroke and cardiac care.

Methodist Fremont Health earned the AHA  Get With The Guidelines®  – Rural Coronary Artery Disease NSTE-ACS Silver recognition award for offering rapid, research-based care to people experiencing non ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS).

MFH earned a bronze award in the same category in 2023.

“We know that folks living in rural areas have a higher risk of dying from cardiovascular events than their urban counterparts,” said Brian Brodd, Methodist Fremont Health’s director of cardiopulmonary services. “But this recognition illustrates our commitment to seeking improvement in the care we provide while ensuring the people of Fremont and surrounding communities are met with the care they deserve – especially when minutes matter.”
