The Fremont Police Department participated in the NDOT High Safety Speeding Protection Traffic Enforcement Grant from July 12-31 focusing on speeding enforcement with an effort to reduce traffic crash injuries and fatalities.
Seven members of the Fremont Police Department completed 131 hours of specific traffic speed enforcement during the time frame. In that time, officers issued 114 speeding citations with a total of 122 of total citations issued and completed a total of 152 traffic contacts.
