Sandra Kay Leeper, 76, of Fremont passed away, July 25, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Sandra was born October 13, 1947, in Fremont, to Guy and Cora Marie (Francis) Allgood. She grew up between Omaha and Fremont and married Leo Leeper on January 17, 1964, in Fremont. They moved to Omaha before returning to Fremont in 1973.
Sandra has spent 60 years in retail including the Neer – Nu Shoppe, Walgreens, and most recently, HyVee in Fremont. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandra enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and word searches. Leo and Sandra spent many summers camping at the Fremont State Lakes.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Leo of Fremont; sons, Russell (Jen) Leeper of Fremont, and Randy (Kristina) Leeper of Omaha; daughter, Robyn (Don) Anderson of Fremont; sisters, Linda (Harvey) Bergman, Carney Tracy, and Diana Carnahan all of Fremont; grandchildren, Sarah, Jake, Hannah, Nate, and Gavin Leeper, Brittany Layman, and Aaron Anderson; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Allgood; sister, Beverly Carpenter; and granddaughter, Courtney Anderson. The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Chaplain Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be from4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
