Lawrence F. Heimann, 72, of Fremont passed away, July 15, 2024, at his home. He was born July 30, 1951, in Humphrey to George and Pat (Beller) Heimann. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1970. After high school, Lawrence served in the U.S. Army from 1971 until 1973. Lawrence married Patti Hawkins on October 2, 1976, at the First United Methodist Church in Fremont.

Lawrence’s specialty and favorite hobby was woodcarving. He started his woodworking business Heimann contracting and has been working for 25 years. Lawrence’s foremost priority was always his role as a family man.

He was survived by his wife, Patti of Fremont; sons, Matt (Cassie) Heimann and Luke Heimann both of Fremont; daughters, Jamie Eickman and Bri Bentley both of Fremont; his mother, Pat Heimann of Fremont; brothers, Mike (Marlene) Heimann of Lipan, Texas, Dennis (Deena) Heimann of Cedar Bluffs, and Tim (Amy) Heimann of Fremont; sister, Sue (Cary) Cattlett of Fremont; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, George; and brother, Tom Heimann.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024, at First United Methodist Church in Fremont. Memorial visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Burial with military honors will be at Tekamah Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday, following the luncheon.
