Fremont police received a report Friday of a possible domestic assault that had occurred earlier.
An investigation was conducted resulting in the arrest of Tillman J. Taylor, 41, of Fremont. Taylor was charged with first-degree sexual assault, assault by strangulation and third-degree domestic assault.
