Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana will be hosting several signing events throughout the state, including one in Fremont on Saturday.
The petition-signing event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to at least 3 p.m. on West Military Avenue between K and L Streets.
Currently, Nebraska is one of only two states that has no path for patients to have legal access to cannabis therapies which can be effective treatment for a variety of medical conditions in patients both young and old.
