
Peggy L. Livingston, 92, of Fremont passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. She was born November 21, 1931 in Fremont to George and Mae (Cookman) Hurley.
Peggy spent her whole life in Fremont. She married Paul Livingston December 22, 1951 in Central City. She worked at Mode O’ Day for 8 years, she was a Bail bondsperson for about 8 years then worked Kindlers Restaurant for several years and the Capri Restaurant for about 4 years and the Big Red Keno for another 10 years all in Fremont. She previously owned the North Bend Laundromat for almost 10 years.
Member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Fremont Eagles No. 200 Auxiliary and VFW Post No. 854 Auxiliary both in Fremont.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Harvey Cook; and brother, Robert Cookman.
Survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Joe) Bouslaugh; brother, Chuck Hurley all of Fremont; two grandsons, Jeff and Ryan Cook; and a niece ‘like a second daughter’, Rita Petersen of Fremont.
