Mary Ann Steiner, 86, of Fremont passed away, Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Mary was born April 17, 1937 in Duncan to John and Victoria Dush. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1955. Mary married Joe Steiner on May 12, 1958, in Duncan. They moved to Fremont in 1966.
Mary worked at Midland University for many years. She was an amazing cook and loved baking, especially decorating cakes. Sewing and embroidery were some of her favorite hobbies. Mary loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by her sons, Pat (Monica) Steiner and Jeff (Mary) Steiner both of Omaha; daughter, Debbie (Reed) Nelsen of Fremont; sister, Florence Schmidt of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Devin, Marshall, Andrew, Daniel, Kevin, Nicole, and Erica; and six great-grandchildren, Haley, Cameron, Janice, Anders, Felix, and Silas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; seven brothers, and five sisters.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Visitation and Rosary will be said 9:30 a.m. before the Mass at the Church on Friday.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
