Wendi J. Meadows-Bailey, 52, of Fremont passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at UNMC in Omaha.
Wendi was born August 26, 1971, in Auburn to Willard and Linda ‘Carson’ Meadows. She was raised in Missouri Valley, Iowa, and graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1989. She attended Bahner College of Hairstyling in Fremont and worked at Lord’s and Ladies in Missouri Valley. Wendi moved to Fremont in 1997 and worked at Oriental Trading and O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. The last several years she worked for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. While working at O’Reilly’s she met Ian Bailey and have been together since 2015. Wendi was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 5 to 8 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Memorials may be directed to the family.
