Rebecca M. Anderson passed peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont surrounded by family.

 

Becky lived courageously for more than nine years with cancer before Jesus called her home. She was born July 15, 1978 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

 

Her greatest legacy she leaves this world is her daughters Cassandra and Cecilia who were the joy of her life! She was a very loving mother and gave all her time and energy to raising her two wonderful girls. She attended her daughters school events and was their biggest supporter.

 

Becky had a very kind, loving and caring heart. She had a deep faith in God and received many graces to help her during her illness. She was baptized and confirmed in the St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was also a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont, gave of her time serving as a CCD teacher at St. Charles Borromeo in North Bend, and more recently attended St. Mary’s in Cedar Bluffs.

 

Becky graduated from North Bend Central High School in 1996.

She attended community college and worked at various jobs throughout her life including phlebotomist, EMT and dental lab technician.

 

Those left to cherish her memory and to live and love each other are her two beautiful daughters, Cassandra Burbach and Cecilia Anderson of Cedar Bluffs, special niece Hailey Anderson of Lincoln, sister Angie Anderson (Frank Blanchard) of Cedar Bluffs, and father Bryan Anderson of Ericson, along with many cousins, aunts and uncles. She joins her mother in Heaven, Barbara Anderson, who passed January 16, 2023; along with her grandparents Allen and Bernice Anderson and Leonard & Evelyn Vech.

 

Funeral Mass will be noon Friday, March 15, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cedar Bluffs. Father Timothy Cole-Kennet will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:30 to noon Friday prior to the service at church.

 

Private burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery near Cedar Bluffs.

 

Memorials may be directed to the family for Rebecca’s children.
