Fremont police are investigating a stabbing that occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday.
Officers were dispatched at about 12:46 a.m. to a business in the 1200 block of East 23rd Street. On the way to the scene, officers were told the victim had left the premises and was at Methodist Fremont Health. This resulted in a disturbance at the hospital.
Jasten J. Zurcher, 21, of Fremont was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
The victim of the stabbing was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Police said the stabbing remains under investigation.
