Linda Sue Kaczmarski, 75, of Nickerson passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, at Nye Legacy in Fremont. She was born June 3, 1948, in Fremont to Ervin John and Betty Jean (Harms) Thomsen.
Linda was raised in Fremont and lived in North Bend for a short time and Nickerson for about 50 years. Linda married Michael “Mike” Kaczmarski on Jan. 6, 1968 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. He preceded her in death May 19, 2016. She worked at Pendleton Woolen Mills for more than 20 years until they closed. She then worked at Fremont Beef for about another 10 years.
Survived by sons, Troy (Laura) Kaczmarski of North Carolina and Michae “Todd” (Brenda) Kaczmarski of Hooper; sister, Regina Thomsen (Butch Bassett) of Fremont; brothers, Jim (Connie) Thomsen, Larry Thomsen, Alan Thomsen and Mark (Shindel) Thomsen all of Fremont; and grandchildren, Matthew, Kevin and Cady Kaczmarski.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, and brothers, Michael J. Thomsen and Anthony Thomsen.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Deacon Tom Silva will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service on Friday at Moser’s.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
