Cleo E. Lute, 82, of Fremont passed away, Dec. 9, 2023, at her home.
She was born July 27, 1941, in Gothenburg to Carl and Esther (Albrecht) Nielsen. Cleo worked at Campbell Soup Company in Fremont and retired from Nye Pointe in Fremont in 2006.
Cleo enjoyed planting flowers and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Steven (Karolyn) Lute of Fremont, Gary (Julie) Lute of Grand Island, and Michael (Jeana) Harlingen, Texas; daughters, Suzanne Sanchez and Barbara Fitzpatrick both of Fremont; brother, Alvin Nielsen of Taylor; sister, Ruth Beck of Grand Island; 19 grandchildren; and 44 great grandchildren.
Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother.
