Workers take down part of Lenihan gerbil run

gerbil-1

A portion of the Lenihan gerbil run was taken down on Monday.

In June, the Fremont Board of Education awarded the Lenihan Glass Enclosure Removal/Roofing Project to Magnum Builders for $83,500.

The project consists of the removal of the curved glass enclosure over the top of the former industrial technology lab areas and replacement with a standing seam metal roof structure.

FPS officials note that only part of the gerbil run is coming down now to shore up the roof issue. The rest will be removed at a later date.
