Kim L. Voss, 83, of Fremont passed away, Nov. 13, 2023, at Methodist Fremont Health.
Kim was born August 10, 1940, in Fremont, to Cloyd and Agatha (Sellhorn) Voss. He graduated from Racine County Ag School in Rochester, Wisconsin, in 1958. After high school, Kim served in the U.S. Air Force.
On June 10, 1961, Kim married Sherrol Keeger in Racine, Wisconsin. They moved to North Bend in 1984, before moving to Fremont in 2008.
Kim owned and operated Voss Radiator Company in Fremont. Later he became an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Kim was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping. He enjoyed time spent with his horses. After the military, Kim received his pilot license and flew privately for several years.
Kim is survived by his wife, Sherrol of Fremont; son, Kip (Kim) Voss of Scribner; daughter, Dawn (David) Forney of Omaha; sister, Dawn (Ron) Hasebroock of Halsey; grandchildren, David Voss, Brett Clausen, Blake Clausen, and Beau Clausen; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kurt Voss.
Graveside service with military honors will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
