The City of Fremont Water Department is planning hydrant flushing this month.
The flushing will begin Sunday (Oct. 8) and run through Thursday (Oct. 12). It will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on hydrants east of Lincoln Street. Crews will begin with the hydrants to the south and work toward the north hydrants of this area.
Hydrant flushing is also planned for Oct. 22-26. Flushing is scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on hydrants west of Lincoln Street. Officials said crews will start with the hydrants to the south and work toward the north hydrants in this area.
