
Dodge County Attorney Pam Hopkins has announced that two new deputies have joined her office this week.
Jared Roland was recently sworn in at the Nebraska Supreme Court. Roland clerked for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He also served in the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office, and the Minnehaha County State Attorney’s Office in South Dakota, prior to his move to Nebraska. Originally from Texas, Roland earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and his law degree from the University of Minnesota.
Jocelyn Brasher comes to Fremont from the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Protection Division. Brasher has spent much of her career working in prosecutor’s offices including the Douglas County Attorney’s Office and the Dawson County Attorney’s Office. An Omaha native, Brasher attended the Creighton University School of Law.
Hopkins notes that both deputies will work on a wide array of matters to ensure that the office continues to provide ethical, effective and efficient representation to protect public safety in the community.
