LaVose A. ‘Ann’ Hull, age 94, of Fremont died Sunday Sept. 24, 2023, at Nye Legacy in Fremont.
Ann was born April 8, 1929, at the Immanuel Hospital in Omaha to Martin and Nina ‘Peterson’ Magnuson. She grew up on a farm northeast of Colon. She attended District 60 Country School for eight years then attended Wahoo High School, graduating in 1946. After high school she went to Midland Lutheran College. She was employed with the Saunders County Triple A farm office for 2 ½ years and then transferred to the same office in Dodge County for 3 years.
On April 24, 1949 she was married to Bill Hull at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wahoo. Ann was baptized, confirmed and married at the church.
Bill was employed by the JC Penney Company and was transferred many times. The family lived in Fremont, Des Moines, Bushnell, Illinois, and Tekamah. The coupled then started Hulls Clothing store in Falls City and owned and operated the store for 27 years. Ann moved back to Fremont in 1993. Ann was a member of Sinai Lutheran Church and involved in the Evangelism Committee and Charity Circle (served as Co-Chair) for over 21 years. She had served as cub scout leader and served as a volunteer for the Methodist Fremont Health Auxiliary. Ann was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member for 54 years.
Ann enjoyed all sports. She did a lot of traveling on tours and loved to play bridge.

and Jacob Morehouse
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bill in 1985.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at Sinai Lutheran Church. The Rev. Al Duminy will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Sinai Lutheran Church or the Masonic Eastern Star Home for Children in Fremont. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 5 to 7 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
