A Valley man will face charges from a crash that killed an Omaha cardiologist.
Dale TenEyck, 63, will be charged with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide and careless driving in the crash that killed bicyclist Dr. Matthew Latacha on Sept. 10 in Douglas County.
Latacha worked for the Methodist Health System.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said TenEyck hit Latacha from behind while traveling south on 252nd Street near Rainwood Road and then went into a ditch. Latacha died at the scene.
The DCSO said TenEyck will receive a criminal citation for the offenses.
