Patricia L. “Pat” Stafford died on Aug. 10, 2023, at Nye Square after a progressive cancer diagnosis at the age of 86. Pat was born on April 7, 1937, at Farnam.
On the 10th day of November 1956, she married Donald Lee Stafford. They have lived their entire 66 years of married life in Fremont.
Pat worked a Farris Dress Shop for 29 years and then at LaJeans. She was a member of Beta Cigma Phi, world organizations of China Painters. Her hobbies included toll painting, canvas painting, China painting, and quilting. She enjoyed spending time with friends and going on trips to Colorado. She also enjoyed country dancing with Don and friends.
Pat is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Stafford; nephew, Brian Edson/Violetta Abalova; many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Regina Edson.
Preceded in death by parents; Mr. & Mrs. C R “Doc” Edson; brother, Larry Edson; niece, Vicki Edson; and sister-in-law, Connie Kime.
Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at First United Methodist Church in Fremont. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
