Kathleen Louise Danner, 92, of Fremont passed away, Wednesday Aug. 9, 2023, at her home.
Kathleen was born July 1, 1931, in North Bend to Leo and Louise (Prokup) Dempsey. She married Richard Danner on Nov. 29, 1950, in Fremont. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1968.
Kathleen resided in North Bend, and Arlington before moving to Fremont in 1975. She managed the ancestral farm in rural North Bend the majority of her life. She was very independent and drove up until her death.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (James) Cunningham of Fremont; daughter-in-law, Kimberly A. Danner of Arlington; and grandson, James R. Danner Jr. of Williston, North Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard R. Danner; daughter, Kathleen Lynn Danner; and son, James R. Danner.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Memorial service will begin at 7 Friday following the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington.
