Nebraska’s Keisei Tominaga makes final roster for Japan’s FIBA World Cup team

Nebraska men’s basketball guard Keisei Tominaga made the final 12-man roster for Japan’s FIBA World Cup team, which begins tournament play Aug. 25.

Tominaga, a longtime fixture in Japan’s international program, will return to Nebraska after the conclusion of the event.

Japan has exhibition games against Angola, France and Slovenia before the FIBA World Cup opener against Germany.

Another Husker basketball player, Rienk Mast, is currently averaging eight points and 6.5 rebounds for the team Netherlands in the FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament.
