
A Tekamah man faces various charges from an incident that occurred Tuesday night.
Fremont police were called at about 10:02 p.m. to the area of 450 E. 23rd St. in reference to a disorderly male. Officers attempted to speak with the man who ultimately fled in a vehicle.
The vehicle was later located with assistance from the Nebraska State Patrol. Joel A. Hemmingsen, 70, was arrested for disorderly conduct, flight to avoid arrest, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, resisting arrest, terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
