Gayle Sutton passed away on April 6, 2023, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.
Gayle was born on Aug. 29, 1948, and was raised in Fremont in a home with a grocery store attached to the front not far from her grandparents’ home all of which were built by the family. Gayle graduated from high school in 1966. She moved away from Fremont for a while but found her way back to town where she remained, in her grandparents/parents’ home
Gayle loved to collect butterflies and enjoyed tending to her irises in her front yard. She is part of the Mormon Church in Fremont. She loved spending time with her family and would always tell people how proud she was of her children. She was very loving and caring to all, maybe more than she should have. However, that is what made her happy and just who she was – caring, accepting, humble, and a great mother.
Gayle preceded in death by her parents, William and Darlene Tracy and a brother, (Bill) William Tracy
She is survived by her five children: Tracy Klenda, Troy House, Tony Sutton, Travis Sutton, Tyler Sutton; her sisters Alvina Stack, Betty McGee, and Marilyn Verbeek.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Church of the Latter-Day Saints.
Burial will take place at Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials suggested to the family for future designation.
