Three arrested following seizure of methamphetamine

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department arrested three individuals and seized a pound of methamphetamine following a traffic stop on Saturday night.

At about 10:15 p.m., a deputy observed a red Chevrolet Malibu speeding and driving on the shoulder on U.S. Highway 30 and County Road 18, west of Fremont.

The deputy conducted a traffic stop and had contact with the occupants of the vehicle. They were identified as Eric Little, 44, of Elkhorn, Jacy Little, 42, of Elkhorn, and Charles Evans, 49, of Omaha.

A search of the vehicle revealed 461 grams of meth — equivalent to one pound. All three occupants of the vehicle were placed under arrest and transported to the Dodge County Jail.

The driver, Eric Little, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, operation of unregistered vehicles, driving on the shoulder, conspiracy to deliver (meth) and violation of a drug tax stamp. Jacy Little and Evans were charged with possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver and violation of a drug tax stamp.
