Scott D. Kindschuh passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and beloved dog, Lil’man, on Tuesday Jan. 17, 2023, after enduring cancer since 2017.

Scott was born in West Point on Feb. 2, 1964 to David and Roxann (Jones) Kindschuh.

He graduated form West Point High School and started working with the family painting company at the age of 16. After the business ended, he went to work at Precision Building in Scribner until October of 2022 when his health issues prevented him from working.

Scott will be remembered for his kindness and caring demeanor and his attention to detail. He was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Lynelle Kindschuh and Floyd and Alice Schlotfeld; his father, David Kindschuh; and his step-father, Gary Phillips.

He is survived by his best friend, Kymberly Lutz of West Point; mother, Roxann Phillips of Fremont; and aunt, Gale Perry of Blair.

Scott’s wishes for no formal funeral service, and his ashes to be scattered will be honored. Online condolences may be left at www.mosermemorialchapels.com.
