FHS Bowlers having a good season

The girls are currently undefeated, and sit at the top of the wild card points, as they head into a busy four weeks of bowling. To this point, they have won 6 duals and two tournaments. (Boone Central and Pius Invite). The Pius invite had 8 of the top ten wildcard point leaders competing in it. Top averages for the girls are Karina Capron (Jr) 196, Haylee Bates (Jr) 184 and Kayleigh McKenzie (Jr) 173.

 

The boys are 4-2 in duals, but have not placed in a tournament to this point. The boys are starting to show improvement as they head into the post season, and they are starting to believe that they can to some good things heading into the post season. Top averages for the boys are Mikey Saxton 191 (Jr), Chase Fowler (Fr) 187, Jacob Fowler (Sr) 186 (Midland Recruit) and Andrew Wusk (Fr) 181.

 

There are two duals left in the regular season schedule.  At Omaha Central ,(January 19th) and at home, against Lincoln Pius (January 23rd). For the first time ever, they will have a HAC bowling Championship in Nebraska and they will compete in that January 25th at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln. Fremont will then gear up to compete in districts. The Tigers will host at 30 Bowl, January 30th and hopefully qualify for state the following week.
