
ADDISON, Ill. – Midland University took to the lanes at the Warhawk Open this past weekend in Addison, Illinois. The men finished 9th in the team qualifying, just missing out on bracket play by 11 pins (8968), while the women placed 15th with a total score of 7730.
Brandon Ogden placed 30th with a total of 1228 and an average of 204.7. Cole Macaluso bowled 1202 (200.3 average) and 37 pins behind him were Jacob Frazier at 1165 (194.2 average) as he edged out Isiah Bautista by a single pin at 1164 (194 average).
Maci Nemechek was the top performer for the Midland women as she took 33rd with a score of 1076 (178.67 average). Kaylee Bergstrom was the next highest with a 980 (163.33 average). Emily Ziegler bowled 910 (182 average) as Christina Patton shot 799 (159.8 average), which edged out Nicole Gattenby by 29 with 770 (154 average)/
Next up, Midland will travel to Las Vegas for a pair of tournaments. First up will be the Glen Carlson Las Vegas Invitational on December 18-19.
