Nate (Nathan) Christian Reker, 39, passed away Nov. 29, 2022, in Omaha. He was born on Jan. 13, 1983 to Donnette (Jokumsen) Vogt and Barry Reker. He graduated from Fremont Sr. High School in 2001.
Nate worked for 5th Seasons and Walgreens Drug Stores as Photo Technician. Nate loved the New York Yankees and Denver Broncos. He was an avid bowler, and he loved fishing. Nate loved his companion, Otis, his pug.
Nate is survived by: mother Donnette Vogt and special friend Adam Garrett, father Barry Reker, Step-mother Kerry Reker, sisters: Nicole Vogt, Emma (Reker) Skow, Joslyn Reker, Grandmother Joyce Jokumsen, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
Nate was proceeded in death by grandparents Norma and Yager Reker, grandfather Donald Jokumsen, uncle Todd Reker and his beloved dog, Otis.
The memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 3 at at Ludvigsen’s Mortuary (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE), and there will be a luncheon to follow the service at 11 a.m. at the Eagles Club (649 N Main St) in Fremont.
There is no visitation planned, with family receiving friends at the service.
