Lyle D. Kurrelmeyer, 83 of Fremont passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. He was born Sept. 8, 1939, to Benjamin and Linda (Diedrichsen) Kurrelmeyer at Scribner.
Lyle was raised at Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School. He then served in the U.S. Army. He farmed, worked at Ace Glass and retired as parts manager from Larsen International in 2012. Lyle married Gloria Goracke in Fremont in 2007. He was a member of Fremont American Legion Post No. 20.
He is survived by his wife Gloria of Fremont and many nieces and nephews.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Rev Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. also at Moser’s.
