Methodist Fremont Health offering free walk-in clinic for athletes

methodist-fremont

Methodist Fremont Health works hard to prevent and minimize sports injuries, providing free athletic training coverage at eight area high schools. But when a student athlete suffers an injury, quick evaluation and treatment can help get them back in the game sooner.

That’s why Methodist Fremont Health provides a free Sports Injury Walk-in Clinic each Saturday during the fall sports season. Injured athletes from any high school in the region can show up and be seen by experts in sports medicine.

The clinic is located in the Rehabilitation Department at Methodist Fremont Health Medical Center, 450 East 23rd Street, and is open from 9 to 10:30 each Saturday morning from now through the end of November. Athletes are asked to check in by 10 a.m. and are seen on a first come, first served basis.

Parents should attend the athlete’s first visit to sign authorization and are always welcome to attend to discuss any questions or concerns.

Methodist Fremont Health is also the exclusive sports medicine provider for Midland University Athletics.
