At 8:39 Friday night, Fremont police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Clarkson Street for a physical disturbance.
On arrival, officers observed an individual with an injury and an investigation was conducted. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Melvin M. Cornejo-Sanchez, 28, of Fremont for third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
