A Fremont man and a Beemer woman were sentenced for their roles in a Stanton County break-in last fall.
Carl Epley, 35, and 41-year-old Jennifer Oswald pleaded guilty in June for the burglary and theft at a Pilger home.
On Monday in Stanton County District Court, Epley was sentenced up to 4-8 years in prison. Oswald was sentenced to ninety days in jail and a $500.00 fine following her theft conviction for her involvement.

Both Epley and Oswald were arrested after an investigation by the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, which led to the recovery of stolen property.
Epley submitted guilty pleas to theft and possession of a firearm by a felon. According to Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, guns were taken during the break-in. Oswald pleaded guilty to theft.
