Recap for July 26th game against the Western Nebraska Pioneers

Fremont, NE- The Moo lose their 18th game of the season, in the first game of the series against the Western Nebraska Pioneers 9-3. The Moo now move to 16-5 in the 2nd half, 2.5 games up in 1st place(32-18 overall). The Pioneers now move to 12-9 in the 2nd half(29-19 overall).

Fremont would get two of their three runs of the ballgame in the 4th on a Zane Skansi solo HR and a Tyler Harrington single that scored Bentley Boekhout. Kanin Dodge would be the other run for the Moo scoring on a wild pitch in the 8th. Western Nebraska would end up scoring two in the 3rd/7th, and five in the 8th to get to the final score of 9-3.

Marco Ibarra would be charged with the loss for the Moo going 7.1 innings, allowing five runs on twelve hits, and striking out three. Ignacio Radney would be credited with the win for the Pioneers going 2 innings, allowing one run on two hits, and striking out three. The Moo and Pioneers will play again tomorrow night at 6:35 for Game two of three.
