Dickinson, ND- The Moo win their 23rd game of the season and 7th in the 2nd half 10-5 against the Badlands Big Sticks. The Moo now move to 7-2 in the 2nd half(23-15 overall), while Badlands is now 5-5 in the 2nd half(22-16 overall).
The Moo would open up the scoring once again in the 1st on a Zane Skansi two-run bomb to left field that scored himself and Austin Baskin 2-0. They would score three more in the 2nd, jumpstarted by Kanin Dodge hitting into a fielder’s choice that scored Jared Snyder, then a Skansi single scored Evan Rowe and a Bentley Boekhout fielder’s choice that scored Dodge. A two-run double by Rowe in the 3rd scored Snyder and Tyler Harrington to increase the Moo lead to 7-0.
Fremont would score one more run in the 7th on a Harrington double that scored Zech Samayoa, then two in the 9th on an error by the Big Sticks 3B that scored Harrington and a bases-loaded walk of Boekhout that scored Rowe. Skansi has now hit an HR in each of the three games this series going 2-5 with 3 RBIs, Rowe went 3-5 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs, and Harrington went 2-5 with an RBI and two runs.
Evan Panjwani was credited with the win for the Moo going 6.1 innings, allowing two runs on five hits, and striking out four. Grayson Gifford was charged with the loss for the Big Sticks going 2.1 innings, allowing seven runs(six earned) on five hits, and striking out four.
