Fremont firefighters responded to a call at 12:29 Thursday afternoon at the Gene Steffy Chrysler auto dealership at 2545 E. 23rd Ave. S.
“There was a (2015) Jeep Cherokee that was fully involved when we arrived,” Fremont Fire Chief Todd Bernt said. “It was on the east side of the lot.”
The jeep was a total loss, but there were no injuries and no other vehicles were damaged. The chief said firefighters left the scene at about 1 p.m.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
