The First State Bank Seniors swept a doubleheader Saturday at South Sioux City.
Logan Mueller struck out 14 and scattered four hits during a 6-1 complete-game win in the opener.
Cal Janke led the offense by going 3-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI. Carter Sintek had two hits, two runs scored  and one RBI. Quinn Gossett and Julius Cortes had two hits each. Brandt Phillips had a hit and two RBI.
FSB broke open a close game by scoring eight times in the third on its way to a 19-2 five-inning victory in the second game.
Phillips got the win by working 2 2/3 innings. He allowed three hits and a walk while striking out five. Jariel Ortiz allowed one hit and one walk in 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief work.
The Seniors clubbed 17 hits in the victory, led by Ortiz going 4-for-4. Domanik Escovedo had three hits and knocked in five runs. Jackson Cyza, Mueller, Sintek and Cortes had two hits each. Janke blasted a home run and drove in three. Ortiz and Cortes scored three times apiece.
