Recap for May 29th suspended game played yesterday June 18th as Game 1 and originally scheduled Game 2

Laramie, WY- The Moo split their doubleheader yesterday against the Gem City Bison losing their first game that was originally played on May 29th, 6-5(8), and shutting out GC 12-0 in the 2nd game. The Moo move to 10-9 on the season still a game and a half out of 1st in 4th place while GC moves to 7-11.
In the first game that was suspended back on May 29th, it restarted at the point when the game was called in the bottom of the 5th zero outs with Quinn McCafferty on 1st and Justice Panton up to bat. The Bison would strike first in the 6th off an RBI single to make it 4-3 before a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 7th tied the game back up at 4. The Moo would score 1 in the 8th off a sac-fly by Zane Skansi that scored Matt Spear but that would be all as the Bison ended up scoring 2 in the bottom of the 8th on an RBI single then a sac-fly to left that was too deep to attempt a throw and GC took it 6-5.
In the second game, it would be all Moo all game long started off in the 2nd by a 3-run Tyler Harrington double to center that scored Bentley Boekhout, Ian Graf, and Ben Higdon to make it 3-0. Then 2 RBI singles one by Austin Baskin that scored Harrington and the other by Evan Rowe scored Baskin to make it 5-0 all in the 2nd. 2 more runs would come across the plate in the 3rd from an Ian Graf solo HR and an RBI single by Matt Spear that scored Harrington. Spear would add an HR of his own in the 5th scoring Harrington again to make it 9-0. The final 3 runs of the ballgame would come in the 6th started by a bases-loaded walk of Harrington that scored Kanin Dodge, then a 2-RBI double by Baskin scored Graf and Higdon to make it 12-0.
In Game 1, Nick Balch was charged with the loss for the Moo going 3 2/3 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits striking out two while Tico Perera got the win for the Bison going 1 inning surrendering 1 run on 2 hits. In Game 2, Brady Bowen got his 3rd win of the season for the Moo going 6 innings allowing no runs on 1 hit striking out 7 while Caleb Lafunor took the loss for GC going 1 inning allowing 2 runs on 3 hits.
The Moo will face off one more time against the Gem City Bison today at 4:05 PM(5:05 CST) before heading to Hastings for a 3-game series Monday through Thursday with an off-day on Tuesday.
