Wednesday, April 20, 2022 officers responded to 2400 block of E. 1st street, for a physical disturbance. Upon arrival, officers investigated, resulting in the arrest of 25-year-old John M. Smith of Fremont, for 3rd degree domestic assault, Assault By Strangulation, 2 counts of Child Abuse/Neglect/No Injury; and Criminal Mischief.
A traffic stop was conducted near East 23rd and Diers Pkwy on Wednesday. As a result of the traffic stop, Juan Guadalupe Montante-Sanchez 42 Fremont was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Operators License, and speeding. A passenger in the vehicle, 22-year-old Breanna M. Kelly of Fremont, as also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
