SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced this week’s softball honors for contests played April 4-10, 2022. Kaitlyn Rickey of Midland University was named the GPAC Softball Player of the Week.
Rickey, a senior from Lakewood, Colorado, had a big week for the Warriors. She helped spark Midland to a 6-0 week, earning her first four starts of the season on Friday and Saturday. For the week, she went 7-for-12 (.583), scored six runs, and had 11 RBIs. She had a pair of doubles and a pair of home runs, including a grand slam on Senior Day.
