Fremont man faces various charges

Fremont police were dispatched at 2:16 Tuesday afternoon to the 800 block of N. Park Avenue to investigate a possible animal cruelty complaint.
An investigation was conducted resulting in Kelly R. Montanye, 55, being arrested for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
