Ellis among the incumbents seeking re-election

Fremont City Councilman Glen Ellis is seeking re-election to Ward 2.
Ellis filed his paperwork Tuesday — the last day incumbents could file — with the office of the Dodge County Clerk.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Ellis announced his re-election bid.
“I hope Fremonters in Ward 2 realize that I am a voice for them. I have and will continue to be concerned about the things that concern them. I have and will continue to fight for a greater quality of life, including pushing for progress and improvements to our fire and police departments,” he said in the post. “I have and will continue to cast votes that protect Fremonters from higher taxes, misuse of your tax dollars and government overreach.
“I will always fight to improve our town and the quality of life for those who call this great city home. I look forward to the possibility of serving Fremonters for four more years in the role of city councilmember.”
Also filing for re-election was county assessor Debbie Churchill.

Other incumbents filing for re-election include Ken Streff for the North Bend City Council, Chad Rebbe for the Logan View Board of Education and Mike Hoff for the Hooper City Council.
Joseph R. Wolfgram of Scribner has entered the race to represent District 3 for the Dodge County Supervisors. Lon Strand, the incumbent, previously filed his paperwork.
