Police probe three-vehicle crash

Police investigate a three-vehicle crash from Friday morning at 23rd and Bell St. One of the vehicles crashed into the south side of Village Inn. 

The Fremont police responded to a three-vehicle accident at 11:25 Friday morning at 23rd and Bell St.
The first vehicle, a 2004 Ford 250 Pickup driven by Justin J. Baker of Fremont, was traveling east on 23rd approaching a red light at Bell. The second vehicle, a 2022 Yukon driven by Janice Stieren of Fremont, had a green turning arrow and had entered 23rd Street at Bell from the north.
The Baker vehicle was unable to stop at the red light due to faulty brakes and collided with the Yukon. The Yukon then struck a third vehicle driven by Shiloh Ladd of Fremont that was facing west in a turning lane on 23rd and Bell.
The Yukon continued traveling north and struck the south side of Village Inn.
The estimated loss to the vehicles and the building is undetermined at this time.
