A Fremont man pleaded guilty to a first-degree sexual assault of a child during Dodge County District Court on Monday.
Christopher J. Mossburg, 47, entered the plea. Mossburg was found competent enough to stand trial. Judge Geoffrey Hall ordered a presentencing investigation report and set sentencing for Feb. 11.
In other district court news:
- Jeannie McCoy, 51, of Fremont was sentenced to 18 months in the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
- Erich Kirchmann, 35, of Fremont appeared on motions to revoke probations on two different cases, including flight to avoid arrest, obstructing a peace officer and theft. It was moved to revoke the probations due to an arrest in November for possession of a controlled substance with an intent to deliver.
- Curtis J. Reeves, 40, of Dodge pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver. The court ordered a PSI and scheduled sentencing for Feb. 7.
- Jason Hoey, 44, of Omaha pleaded no contest to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). A PSI was ordered with sentencing scheduled for Jan. 31.
- Thomas Becker, 33, of Fremont had his motion for discovery granted. Becker is facing a possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) charge from November. It was continued to Jan. 18.
