SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced that Midland University’s Bo Sandquist has earned this week’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honors.
Sandquist, a senior from Johnston, Iowa, averaged 20.7 points per outing this past week as he helped guide Midland to three wins. He scored a career-high 32 points against Dakota State. In other aspects of his game, he averaged five rebounds and two assists while defending each opponents’ primary scorer.
The Warriors will look to continue their winning streak this week as they return to conference play. They’ll travel to face Mount Marty on Wednesday in Yankton, South Dakota, and host Dordt University on Saturday in Fremont.
